China Challenge  author1990China Challenge III is a system-friendly rewrite of the original China Challenge, an Amiga Shanghai clone from 1989. Unlike China Challenge II, which was written in C, this version is written in assembly language for speed and compactness. Music can be turned on and off, and is played in a system-friendly manner. It comes with full source in C, C++ and assembly.***I don't know whether to call "China Challenge II" and "China Challenge III" a seperate game or just updated versions. I tend to the latter. They all look and play very much the same. For example, CC 2 was written in C, while CC 3 was written in assembler, fixed several bugs and added an option to turn audio off. I think this falls into what we call patch category today an not new game category.

Also released as part of the "50 Great Games" compilation by Wicked Software in 1991.
